Every villa. Every view. Every stay.

At a lot of coastal resorts, a handful of rooms carry the water view and everybody else takes what is left. That is not how this site works. The resort is built down a headland, so every villa is positioned to face the water.

Front villas take the uninterrupted panorama. The middle and rear villas keep an expansive ocean outlook that most resorts cannot offer from any room at all. The difference here is not between having a view and not having one.

Each villa is individually owned, which is why no two are alike. Some read contemporary after recent renovation, others keep a classic beachside character. What does not change is the setting, and a full kitchen and laundry in every one.

Every year visitors travel from around Australia to watch the humpback migration off North Stradbroke Island, and spend their days moving between lookouts and headlands looking for the right spot.

Through the season, guests here regularly watch humpbacks breaching, tail slapping and travelling along the coastline from the villa itself. Best months are June to October.

Whales are wild animals and sightings are never guaranteed, but the coastline in front of the resort is on the migration route.

North Stradbroke Island is Minjerribah, and this is Quandamooka country. The headland reserve beside the resort is open to our guests because the Quandamooka People made it available for that purpose.
